Dr Chris Greyling is a Specialist Physician (2017) and always had a particular interest in Endocrinology and Diabetes. In August 2022 he passed his exams and is proud to be a registered endocrinologist.

Dr Lize Greyling is a general practitioner trained in diabetes care. She has a very strong research background as well as experience in HIV and Tuberculosis management. She manages our practice.

Dr Chris Greyling

Dr Chris Greyling did his internship in RK Khan Hospital in 2008 and 2009 and did his community service at Madwaleni Hospital. He then started his career in Internal Medicine at Worcester Hospital. From 2014-2017 he trained in internal medicine at Tygerberg Hospital.
Dr. Greyling is passionate about general Internal medicine and critical care in particular.
He has a great love for teaching under and postgraduate medical students.
Dr Chris Greyling completed his specialist training at Stellenbosch University as a specialist physician in 2017 and graduated with FCP(SA) and MMED (Stellenbosch). He then sub-specialized in Endocrinology and Metabolism which he completed in March 2020 from the University of Cape Town. In August 2022 dr. Greyling passed his Endocrinology Certificate and is currently practicing as a specialist physician and registered as Endocrinologist.
During his training at Groote Schuur Hospital, Dr Greyling has gained experience in the diagnosis and management of a variety of simple and complex endocrine-related disorders including thyroid disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, obesity and bariatric surgery, parathyroid disease, pituitary disorders (including Cushing’s syndrome, Acromegaly, Prolactinoma’s), neuroendocrine tumours, lipid abnormalities, adrenal disorders, transgender care, electrolyte abnormalities and growth problems. Dr Greyling has a special clinical interest in autoimmune, thyroid and pituitary disease. He is also busy with his second Masters degree on the topic of hyperthyroidism and Grave’s disease.
